A 22-year-old man is in hospital after a high-speed police chase in the Waikato this morning.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle which was being driven dangerously on State Highway One north of Huntly just after 10:30pm.
The driver was caught shortly after 11pm when he crashed the car on a bend on Te Kowhai Rd just out of Te Kowhai
He's now in police custody and charges will be laid against him later today.
