A 77-year-old man remains in serious condition in hospital after a home invasion in Hastings early this morning.
He was bashed by two women who broke into his home on Heretaunga Street East at about 12.30.
They took off in his car.
Police are asking for sightings of it - a green and silver 1996 Toyota Carib station wagon, registration YH6964.
